Is Fortunica Casino legit? As a business, yes: it is a working offshore casino and sportsbook, trading since 2025, and UK customers do open accounts and get paid in pounds. What it lacks is a UK Gambling Commission licence, and the offshore licence numbers reviewers quote could not be matched to Fortunica in the public registers we checked on 2 October 2026. More than one edition of its terms is in circulation, and at least one names the United Kingdom as a restricted territory. This page sorts what can be verified from what cannot, and shows how to run the checks yourself before you deposit.
Fortunica is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, so UK protections such as GAMSTOP do not apply. A licence from another country, whichever it is, does not cover gambling offered to people in Great Britain. The bonus, games and payments sit on one page in our UK overview of Fortunica Casino.
Licence claims vs what the registers show
Fortunica’s own pages are little help here. In archived copies, the footer’s licence block is loaded by a script, and NightRush notes that the licence details “vary by location”. So the claims below are the ones reviewers have printed, each searched in the register it refers to.
| Licence claim | Quoted by | What the register shows | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anjouan, ALSI-202501022-F11 | WagerPals, NightRush, Casinos.cc, CasinoAlpha | Not in the public Anjouan register (1,540 entries); no Winstar N.V., no Fortunica domain | 2 October 2026 |
| Curaçao, OGL/2024/611/0233 | WagerPals, CasinoAlpha | The CGA register lists this number for Promotech N.V. (reg. 165167); Fortunica and Winstar N.V. do not appear | Register editions February–September 2026, checked 2 October 2026 |
| Costa Rica | Casinoslists, SlotsMate, ApuestasExtranjeras | Described as a data-processing permit from the Municipality of Goicoechea, not a gambling licence | 2 October 2026 |
| UK Gambling Commission | Some lookalike sites, not the operator | Public register: no results for Fortunica, Winstar, Promotech or the Fortunica domains | 2 October 2026 |
An absent entry does not prove there is no licence. The Anjouan register is updated periodically, and the CGA files cover only Curaçao’s new online gaming framework. Even so, no public source confirms any licence number linked to Fortunica, and Casino Guru’s review marks the Curaçao licence as “Fake”. The Anjouan online validator settled nothing either: without a current seal link, it returned “INVALID” both for Fortunica’s domains and for a control domain that does hold a valid licence. That leaves the seal on the live site as the one meaningful test (step 1 below).

Who runs Fortunica
Who owns Fortunica Casino? Depending on the source, one of three companies, and not one of them can be tied to the brand through a gambling register:
- Winstar N.V., Curaçao, registration 168709: named by Casino Guru, WagerPals, Slotozilla, NightRush and CorrectCasinos, who cite the terms footer. It does not appear in the CGA register editions checked.
- Promotech N.V., Curaçao: named by CasinoAlpha. The CGA register lists it against licence OGL/2024/611/0233, with no mention of Fortunica.
- Aurora Dynamics S.R.L., Costa Rica: named by Casinoslists and SlotsMate, alongside a terms version with a different restricted-countries list.
One company in the chain does check out. WagerPals names Amartis Limited, Cyprus registration HE 473930, as the payment processor, and the Cyprus register shows it as active, based in Limassol and registered on 12 April 2025. Other reviewers give different processors (Rollixet LTD, Ombrix LTD), which fits NightRush’s note that details change by region.
The brand itself is easier to pin down. Its main domain is fortunica.casino, and its partner programme, C.R.E.A.M. Partners, went live in April 2025 marketing Fortunica as a UK and Australia brand. Dozens of lookalike sites pose as Fortunica’s UK home. The operator runs none of them, and it does not run this guide either. Our Fortunica login checklist shows how to confirm the real domain. The Fortunica mobile app is not in Google Play or the App Store, so any installable file should come from that domain and nowhere else.
Terms that matter for UK players
The rules below are taken from reviewers who have read the terms and from the casino’s own interface. Because versions differ, check every row against the terms you are actually shown.
| Term | What reviewers report | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Restricted territories | The Winstar/Anjouan version lists the United Kingdom (CorrectCasinos, June 2025; WagerPals, July 2026; CasinoAlpha, September 2026). The Aurora version lists 38 countries, not including the UK | Read the clause before you register; if the UK is listed, don’t sign up |
| VPN use | Banned in the terms (CasinoAlpha, NightRush, SlotsMate); NightRush says it can void winnings | Play only from your real location |
| Unwagered deposit | A withdrawal fee under clause 8.11.6: 8% (minimum €4) per CorrectCasinos and WagerPals, up to 20% per BonusManiac and NightRush | Wager each deposit at least once before cashing out |
| Withdrawal caps | €5,000 a month (Casino Guru); or €1,000 per transaction, €3,000 a day and €20,000 per 30 days, falling to €5,000 once withdrawals exceed deposits by 20x (CasinoAlpha) | Expect a large win to arrive in instalments |
| Bonus on withdrawal | Cash bonuses, free spins and Wheel of Fortune spins are forfeited once a withdrawal is created (the casino’s own wording) | Finish or drop the bonus first |
| Accounts | One account per person; duplicate-account rules allow deposits and winnings to be confiscated (BonusManiac) | Never open a second account |
| Verification | Photo ID, proof of address (issued within 3 months), proof of payment and a selfie; triggered by any withdrawal or deposits above €5,000 (WagerPals) | Upload documents before your first cash-out request |
The territory clause carries the most weight. The Anjouan validator’s standard text lists the United Kingdom among excluded territories and places complaints from players there outside the scope of an Anjouan licence. If your version of the terms excludes the UK, there is no UK protection and no offshore regulator to fall back on. The fee is the simplest row to sidestep: withdraw an unwagered £100 deposit and you lose £8 at the reported 8%, or £20 at 20%. Cashier limits are in our guide to Fortunica payment methods; the 40x rules are in the Fortunica welcome bonus terms.
Complaints and ratings
Casino Guru lists 26 complaints against Fortunica and a Safety Index of 3.3, rated “Very low” (September 2026). Reviews from earlier in 2026 quoted 5.1, so the figure moves; check the live one.
Of the 26, 13 were resolved, 8 rejected and 5 remain unresolved, and Casino Guru records that the casino does not reply to complaints its specialists pass on. On the other side of the ledger, it rates the terms “Fair”, finds no unfair clauses and lists Fortunica on no blacklists. Among the UK cases:
- A £519 win that “disappeared” from a balance, resolved in August 2025 once the player uploaded verification documents.
- A £300 withdrawal delayed since July 2025 and still unresolved; Casino Guru pointed players in this position to the Anjouan authority.
- A £2,000 balance that dropped to £0 after verification, closed in August 2025.
On Trustpilot, the unclaimed fortunica.bet profile scores 1.7 out of 5 from 56 reviews (2 October 2026), 84% of them one-star. The grievances line up with Casino Guru’s: KYC that drags, payouts broken into smaller instalments, and requests to close an account left without a reply. A minority report smooth payouts once KYC was done. AskGamblers has no Fortunica review page.
What the UK licence would give you that Fortunica doesn’t
Every rule in this table exists to limit losses or settle disputes, and an offshore operator is bound by none of them.
| Protection | UKGC-licensed casino | Fortunica |
|---|---|---|
| GAMSTOP self-exclusion | Must take part (since 31 March 2020) | Not part of the scheme |
| Online slot stake limit | £5 per spin; £2 for players aged 18–24 (2025) | Not bound; stakes set per game (€5 cap only while wagering a bonus) |
| Bonus wagering | Capped at 10x from 19 January 2026 | 40x the bonus, 30x free-spin winnings |
| Credit cards | Banned for gambling since 14 April 2020 | Not bound by the ban |
| Identity checks | Before you can play | Required before the first withdrawal |
| Disputes | Complaints process ending with an independent ADR service | Support, then management review and arbitration (reviewers’ summary); no ADR provider published (WagerPals) |
In pounds, the gap is wide. Under the 10x cap, a £100 bonus needs at most £1,000 of play; at Fortunica, 40x turns the same £100 bonus into £4,000 of wagering, and winnings from it stop at £500 (5x the bonus).
Fortunica and GAMSTOP: what it means
People searching “Fortunica Casino not on GAMSTOP” are really asking about one fact. Fortunica is not part of GAMSTOP, the free self-exclusion scheme that every UKGC-licensed online operator must join, because it holds no UK licence. Through GAMSTOP, people in the UK can exclude themselves from all licensed gambling sites for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. Its reach ends at the operators inside the scheme, which is why the Gambling Commission advises pairing it with blocking software and a card block.
Nothing about that is an advantage to the player. It simply means the UK’s main self-exclusion scheme cannot reach Fortunica. If you have registered with GAMSTOP, please don’t use this or any other gambling site. That exclusion exists to protect you, and the National Gambling Helpline (0808 8020 133, free, 24/7) can talk it through with you.
Fortunica’s own account tools work on Fortunica alone: daily limits on deposits, losses, wagers and time, plus “Take a break” for 1, 3, 7, 14 or 21 days; a new limit can’t be raised for 1 day. Reviewers say support can arrange self-exclusion for 6 months or longer. Blockers and bank gambling blocks that work across sites are explained in our guide to responsible gambling tools for UK players.
How to check it yourself
- Click the licence seal in the footer. On the live site it should open the regulator’s validator showing a licence number, a company name and the exact domain you are on. If the seal doesn’t click through, or names a different domain, treat the licence claim as unproven.
- Find the territory clause. Search the terms for “United Kingdom” and “VPN”, then look up clause 8.11.6 on withdrawal fees. Screenshot it with the date, as terms change and vary by region.
- Search the UK register. Type the operator name and domain into the Gambling Commission public register; “No results” means there is no British licence. Where a site quotes a UKGC account number, open it. One lookalike Fortunica site quotes a number that turns out to belong to an individual’s personal licence.
- Match the company names. The name in the footer and the name on the licence should be the same company.
- Read recent complaints and know your route. Sort Casino Guru and Trustpilot by newest first. Fortunica’s own route runs from [email protected] to [email protected], then on to management review and arbitration. Reviewers report that a bet has to be disputed within 3 days of settlement.
Verdict
Fortunica operates as a real casino, with UK customers depositing and withdrawing in pounds. It falls down on what a UK player normally takes for granted: there is no UK licence, the quoted offshore numbers don’t match public registers, and the complaint record is weak. Whether that counts as legit depends on what you expect; if you need UK protections, Fortunica can’t offer them.
Who should not use it
- Anyone registered with GAMSTOP or trying to cut down.
- People who want a UK complaint route and UK stake and bonus limits.
- Anyone whose version of the terms lists the UK as restricted.
- Players who expect a large win in one payment.
If you still choose it
- Screenshot the territory clause before signing up.
- Have verification done before your first withdrawal request.
- Start small (minimum deposit £10) and wager each deposit once to avoid the fee.
- For speed, reviewers report crypto withdrawals in roughly 1–4 hours after approval, against 1–3 days for cards and 3–5 days for bank transfers.
- Set a deposit limit on day one.

Is Fortunica legit? FAQ
Is Fortunica Casino legit?
Fortunica is a real offshore casino, launched in 2025, that pays UK players in pounds. It has no UK Gambling Commission licence, and the licence numbers reviewers quote did not match Fortunica in public registers checked on 2 October 2026.
Is Fortunica safe for UK players?
UK protections do not apply: no GAMSTOP, no £5 slot stake limit, no 10x wagering cap and no UK dispute route. One version of its terms lists the UK as restricted, so read the terms you are shown first.
